Indofood Group melalui anak usahanya, PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP), masih menguasai pasar mi instan di Indonesia, meski persaingan di sektor tersebut makin ketat. Dengan kapasitas produksi mi instan lebih dari 15 miliar bungkus per tahun, Indomie yang diproduksi Indofood CBP menguasai pangsa pasar mi instan nasional sebesar 69,6% pada 2007 dan kemudian naik menjadi 75,2% di 2011 dan terakhir sebesar 74%, menurut riset duniaindustri.com . Di semester I 2015, laporan keuangan Indofood CBP menunjukkan, penjualan segmen mi instan naik 6,17% menjadi Rp 10,93 triliun dibanding periode yang sama tahun sebelumnya.
